Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of substance abuse disorders. Research shows that when treating substance-abuse disorders, a combination of medication and behavioral therapies is most successful. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is clinically driven with a focus on individualized patient care.

About us

Breakthrough Treatment Center is substance abuse treatment program located in Miami, Florida. Our program is designed for individuals who struggle with alcoholism and drug addiction, and who can be successfully treated on either PHP, IOP, or OP level of care. All clients must meet the ASAM admission criteria for one of these levels of care. Our Program treats the unique individual with respect and compassion while holding them accountable for maintaining measured progress in their recovery.
